broken tapes!!!

i've got a few more tapes after the boy and the boots tape, but thats all i hear when i find a new one, i've looked on the list and there are no new ones added???

This is usually caused by continuing the story into Act 2 before retrieving all of the tapes in the Northern Region.

Guys can you help me out of this?I just don't understand how these work. I entered the code to unlock the extra missions. But nothing appears on my in-game map. I went to where the letter is supposed to be according to a map I found online. What gives? What do I need to do to open this storyline?

To do those missions you have to start a new game.
